Our daughter's wedding was wonderful in every sense of the word. Families were joined, new friendships were formed, old friendships rekindled- lots of laughs, smiles, hugs and even some tears....of joy of course! The weather couldn't have been better, given it WAS an outside wedding...in August...in Michigan. A long HOT, DRY summer broke in the days leading up to the ceremony, leaving us scrambling for umbrellas and jackets to stave off the cold rain and unseasonable cool temperatures, and causing my dear daughter to mutter..."If one more person asks about the weather....grrrrr". BUT, after much appealing to the powers that be, the rain stopped, the clouds cleared, and we were able to enjoy one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended. Not that I'm biased, by any means. Enough about the weather, you say....show us the photos! First off a story...  It's been a while since I've shared some color photos.
